The mission of this conference is to publish and integrate scientific results and act catalytically to the fast developing culture of web communities. The conference invites original papers, review papers, technical reports and case studies on WWW in particular the emerging role of so-called WWW-Based Communities.

I-KNOW '09 is part of the I-KNOW conference series and will be held concurrently with the I-SEMANTICS' 09 - International Conference on Semantic Systems. Lernen im digitalen Zeitalter. Die 7. e-Learning Fachtagung Informatik der Gesellschaft für Informatik.

Die DeLFI-Tagung widmet sich allen Aspekten rechnergestützten Lernens und Lehrens. Ausgewählte Fragestellungen dieses Themenkomplexes werden durch Vorträge ausgewiesener Experten und durch eingereichte Beiträge intensiv behandelt. Der Schwerpunkt liegt auf den Anforderungen an die Informatik und den daraus resultierenden Ergebnissen.

Zur Präsentation von Beispielszenarien, Projektergebnissen, Best-practice sowie zum Erfahrungsaustausch sind ebenfalls ausreichend Freiräume eingeplant. Die Tagung fördert so den regelmäßigen Austausch zwischen Forschung, Entwicklung und Anwendung.
